By far we provide more "Family Day Tickets" during the summer months than anything else!

Choose to do either do a full day of one activity or choose a maximum of two half day activities from the list above – virtually arrange your own tailored itinerary for a group of friends or family. We'll take you out on the best adventures by day offering perfect opportunities for unique and exciting adventure activities under the guidance of professional instructors who will look after you well.

These adventure activity days run from Easter 2011 until mid October 2011.

What will I do? Please have a look at our sample itineraries for these Taster sessions.

Previous Experience | No previous experience is required on any of these adventure days – they are aimed primarily at novices and virtual beginners. Our friendly and experienced instructors are there to support and encourage you. Our adventure days will suit all ages, abilities and aspirations.

Level of Activity | The prices quotes apply only to Beginner / Improver levels of taster days – where the standard ratios will apply. Where a lower ratio is required on improver, intermediate or advanced skills training, then our more advanced course fees or Private Guiding fees will apply.

We have done some of our chosen activity before but want to up our skills – can we do this? Yes! Have a look at our skills training days and courses – these could well suit you better.

Age Limits | Our usual minimum age is 8 years. Juniors are 16 yrs and under. Minimum age unaccompanied by a parent is 12 yrs. We are occasionally happy to take children 6+ years on some activities – always accompanied by a parent or guardian – this will always be at our discretion. We do not cater for toddlers in any of our activities – for their own safety. We reserve the right to decline bookings including young children in family groups in inclement weather or who are inadequately clad.

Maximum Ratios | In order that you can gain maximum benefit from these sessions we limit numbers to 1 instructor to 6 or 8 clients - depending on the activity.

Minimum Numbers | We usually only run an activity on any day with minimum of 3 persons – but please ask – other individuals may want to book on the same day. If you are coming as an individual then please see below our DAILY PROGRAM 2011 for INDIVIDUAL ACTION DAYS. We can usually work things around to suit.

Times | Sessions start from Snowgoose Mountain Centre 9.15 am to 12.30 noon or 1.30 pm to 4.30 p.m. We strongly recommend that you meet us at our centre – it saves us from arriving with the wrong sized boots or buoyancy aid. We are usually back at our base by 5.00pm at the latest. The number of days booked can be any within a 7 day period. You will need a packed lunch / flask / something to drink on the full day's activity.

What does the price include? | Our prices always include equipment, technical gear, safety equipment and reasonable, local in course transport.

What do I need to wear and bring? | Please have a look at our detailed kit list – this will tell you what you need to bring yourself, what we provide (all the hard ware and safety equipment) and anything you may want to hire from us.

NOTE: We do not recommend rock climbing or High Mountain Walking as a half day activity – we do not consider that these are practical or value for money.

What about the weather? | All sessions are weather dependent. Every effort will be made to accommodate your booking but should conditions be such that we cannot run your session we will always offer a suitable alternative activity.

Do I need to book? | You will need to book in advance especially in the busy summer season - (call 01397 772467 or email from our web site to book) A non refundable deposit is required to book. Pre booking is preferred and essential at busy times of the year.
